With only one game under his belt, it is still very early in the season to draw definitive conclusions about Austin Booker's play. Across 19 snaps in Week 2, he earned a net-negative 58.3 overall grade driven largely by perimeter breakdowns and low run defense marks. His primary highlight came on an inside pass rush where he aligned at 3-technique and burst past the guard for a nine-yard sack. Outside of that splash play, his edge rushes were frequently neutralized by tackles who rode him past the pocket, and he lost contain against a scramble. His 52.3 run defense grade underlined those leverage problems, including getting cleanly washed out on an eight-yard gain.
