His evaluation was primarily dragged down by a quiet pass rush that graded at 55.8 and failed to generate heat on critical passing downs. Early on, he also struggled with edge containment, getting repeatedly pinned inside by tight ends on outside runs. He did manage to salvage his run defense to a 62.0 grade through strong point-of-attack sheds later in the game, but it was not enough to pull his overall mark back to replacement level.
