It is early in the season for Carson Vinson, who has logged just a single appearance through Week 3. Over 73 snaps against Dallas, his play settled at a 66.0 replacement-level mark largely driven by a divide between his pass and run blocking. He was solid in pass protection with a 70.9 grade, effectively anchoring against edge speed and running rushers past pocket depth. However, his run blocking lagged at 62.7 as he frequently failed to establish inside leverage on zone reach blocks. An uneven fourth quarter highlighted by an illegal formation penalty and a quarterback hit allowed capped his lone outing so far.
