Season so far
It is early in the season for Carson Wentz, who has made just one start and played 53 graded snaps for Minnesota. His opening performance resulted in a detrimental 58.4 overall grade, largely driven down by an erratic 57.0 passing grade. He struggled with routine accuracy from clean pockets and demonstrated poor pocket management against Chicago. While he flashed positive moments on play-action throws and stood tall under pressure, he committed critical errors like ignoring a hot read against a slot blitz for a drive-killing sack. Because he has only played in Week 2, there is not yet a week-to-week trend, but his initial outing proved to be a net-negative.
