With just one appearance under his belt in the 2026 season, it is early to define Daxton Hill's overall trajectory. Hill opened his campaign in Week 3 against Pittsburgh with a replacement-level 60.6 grade across 69 snaps. His outing featured extreme highs and lows in coverage, giving up an early 38-yard touchdown to Roman Wilson and drawing a downfield pass interference penalty before recovering. He offset those negatives by staying hip-to-hip deep with DK Metcalf and recording a pivotal third-down pass breakup. Hill also experienced difficulty disengaging from perimeter blockers in run and screen defense, resulting in a neutral overall grade profile.
