Season so far
It is early in the season for Demario Davis, who has logged just one game and 66 snaps on his way to an overall grade of 69.5. His debut was anchored by strong interior run defense and opportunistic blitzing, highlighted by an unblocked A-gap sack of Jared Goff. Between the tackles, Davis consistently plugged gaps and shed lead blocks to generate key stops, including a crucial fourth-and-one denial. However, his overall evaluation was held back by a replacement-level 60.0 coverage grade after biting downhill on run action to concede a 28-yard completion to Sam LaPorta. Additionally, he showed limited sideline-to-sideline range against outside plays, missing opportunities to cut off perimeter touchdown runs.
