It is still early in the season for Drew Sample, who has logged just a single appearance through Week 3. He played at a replacement level in that lone contest, generating an overall mark of 62.9 across 42 snaps. His overall value was primarily carried by his run blocking, highlighted by impressive seals against T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith. However, he remained entirely neutral across receiving and pass protection duties while giving up an inside run stop to Nick Herbig. A missed assignment on kickoff coverage further held his grade down, making for an uneven debut performance.
