It is early in the season for Garett Bolles, who has appeared in only one contest and logged 72 snaps for a 69.8 overall grade. His play was anchored by solid pass protection, where he earned a 73.0 grade while effectively shielding Bo Nix's blindside against edge rushers Byron Young and Josaiah Stewart. Conversely, his run blocking was much more erratic, earning a modest 63.8 grade due to missed reach blocks that surrendered tackles behind the line of scrimmage. His overall mark was further dragged down by two damaging penalties, including an illegal formation that wiped out a positive run and a late holding call. With only Week 3 on his ledger, it remains too early to gauge a weekly trajectory, but reducing penalties and sharpening his run blocking will be vital going forward.
