It is early in the season for J.K. Dobbins, who has logged just a single appearance through Week 3. He registered a replacement-level 66.8 overall grade across 34 offensive snaps in his lone contest against the Rams. His grade was predominantly powered by 23 carries, where he flashed strong downhill vision and consistently fought through interior contact to convert in short-yardage situations. However, an otherwise solid rushing outing was heavily undermined by a costly third-quarter fumble. Combined with neutral marks in limited receiving and pass protection duties, that ball-security lapse kept his debut grade in check.
