It is early in the season for Ja'Quan McMillian, who has played in just one contest and logged 56 graded snaps. His 57.7 overall grade sits in the detrimental tier, primarily weighed down by a 57.6 mark across 52 coverage snaps. In his lone appearance against the Rams, McMillian struggled with zone awareness by yielding excessive cushion on underneath out routes and triggering late on checkdowns. He was also beaten late in the fourth quarter after biting inside on a 20-yard wheel route. Despite those lapses, he demonstrated upside by flashing excellent hip fluidity and leverage to break up a third-and-long pass.
