Josh Blackwell's 2026 campaign is just getting underway, with his evaluation currently limited to a single appearance in Week 2. Across 17 special teams snaps, he performed at a replacement level with an overall grade of 63.7. His grade was primarily driven by effective gunner reps in punt coverage, where he defeated double-team jams to force a pair of fair catches. However, his work as a return-unit jammer was uneven, highlighted by a clean seal block but hindered by a missed jam that surrendered an unchecked release. With only one game in the books, it is still too early to establish any meaningful week-to-week trend.
