It is still early in the season for Jowon Briggs, who has made just one appearance through Week 3. He performed at a replacement level in his lone outing against Detroit, posting a 65.2 overall grade across 52 snaps. His grade was driven by high snap volume of neutral play, tallying 44 neutral reps alongside identical 65.0 marks in run defense and pass rush. Briggs provided bright spots by landing a clean hit on Jared Goff and making a clutch goal-line stop against Jahmyr Gibbs. However, his overall impact was kept in check after he was reached and washed out of his gap on multiple interior run blocks.
