It is very early in the season to establish a true trajectory, as his full evaluation rests on a single Week 3 showing. His performance was fueled by a stout 75.5 run-blocking mark, where he consistently controlled massive nose tackles on combo and reach blocks to open up scoring drives. In contrast, his pass protection lagged somewhat at a 64.5 mark due to a vacated A-gap sack and a late shed on third down. Even with those hiccups, he demonstrated a steady interior anchor on deep dropbacks to provide Detroit with quality trench play.
