It is early in the season for Kahlil Benson, who has logged just one game and 57 total snaps for Kansas City. He currently holds a replacement-level 60.7 overall grade, driven by a tale of two halves in his Week 3 outing against Miami. Through the first three quarters, Benson performed reasonably well in pass protection by executing clean vertical sets and showing solid mobility on zone reaches. However, his performance collapsed in the fourth quarter as he yielded three hits to edge rushers Chop Robinson and Joshua Uche. Combined with a net-negative 57.2 run-blocking mark where he lacked displacement and gave up instant penetration, his late-game lapses brought down his initial showing.
