With only one game under his belt, it is too early in the season to draw definitive conclusions about Kam Curl's form. Over 67 snaps against Denver in Week 3, Curl turned in a replacement-level grade of 60.6, highlighted by mostly neutral play across 64 of those reps. His run defense graded slightly better at 61.5 compared to a flat 60.0 in pass coverage. His primary misstep came in the third quarter when he held inside leverage and surrendered an eight-yard touchdown pass. Still, he balanced that coverage blemish with impactful pursuit angles and open-field tackling, including a screen stop and a touchdown-saving tackle.
