It is still very early in the season for Khyiris Tonga, who has made only one appearance through Week 3. Over his 33 snaps, he posted a 69.3 overall grade driven primarily by a solid 71.1 run-defense mark. He regularly choked off interior rushing lanes by taking on combo blocks and shedding reach blocks to minimize Miami's ground gains. In the passing game, his impact was modest at a 64.3 grade, though he showed good hustle to corral a scrambling quarterback short of the marker. His only clear lapse came in short yardage, where he was driven backward on a third-and-short sneak.
