Malachi Lawrence's 2026 season is just getting underway, with the outside linebacker logging only one appearance across 31 graded snaps. It is still very early to draw definitive conclusions, but his initial outing yielded a net-negative 58.8 overall grade against Baltimore. The primary driver of his subpar grade was run defense (53.5), where his edge discipline deteriorated as the contest progressed. Although he flashed effective backside pursuit and contributed to early stops on Derrick Henry, he surrendered explosive perimeter gains in the second half after being repeatedly sealed inside. Lawrence did provide minor bright spots elsewhere, showing solid effort on special teams (64.3) and holding neutral value over limited pass-rushing reps.
