It is still early in the season for Mike Hughes, who has logged just one game and 57 graded snaps in Week 3. Hughes delivered a replacement-level 60.0 overall grade, largely weighed down by a turbulent 57.5 grade in pass coverage. His outing was marred early by deep coverage lapses, including conceding a 45-yard completion on third down and committing a 34-yard pass interference penalty. He managed to offset some damage in the third quarter with a clutch third-down tackle short of the sticks and a fourth-down goal-line pass breakup. However, yielding soft conversions via generous cushion in the fourth quarter kept his overall impact net-neutral.
