It is very early in the campaign, but his current 56.9 grade reflects a net-negative level of play driven largely by a single costly mistake. In the first quarter, he was flagged for an offensive holding penalty on a kickoff return that negated solid field position. He did demonstrate positive impact later in the game, working downhill on kickoff coverage to secure an assisted tackle. Outside of that splash play, his remaining reps were neutral, meaning that eliminating discipline errors will be critical for elevating his grade moving forward.
