It is still early in the season for Samaje Perine, who has suited up for just one contest and logged 32 total snaps. Operating primarily as a rotational back and special-teamer, his 64.8 season grade places him at a replacement level of play. His performance in Week 3 was bolstered by a clean 10 snaps in pass protection and tough, physical runs that converted early short-yardage situations. However, his mark was held back by a below-neutral 56.7 receiving grade after failing to hold onto a third-down pass through contact.
